Par Mohammadian, RPh, PhD
Dr. Parvaneh Mohammadian is a licensed pharmacist, biomedical education researcher, and professor of Life Sciences at Los Angeles Mission College, where she also serves as Vice Chair of the department. With a Ph.D. in Human Biology and over two decades of experience in higher education and interdisciplinary research, she is a champion of equitable access to STEM and allied health education. As a CCCCO AI Fellow, her current work focuses on advancing the responsible integration of AI into teaching, learning, and student support to help build inclusive, future-ready college pathways. Bamdad Samii
Bamdad Samii is the Chair of the Mathematics/Computer Science and Engineering Department and Professional Development Coordinator at Los Angeles Mission College. He leads campus-wide efforts to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into curriculum and professional development, facilitating workshops for faculty, staff, and administrators across the California Community Colleges system. Bamdad has developed innovative AI tools—including tutoring bots, interview prep agents, and culturally responsive learning assistants to enhance teaching and learning. As Chair of the college’s AI Task Force and a contributor to statewide AI policy initiatives, he is committed to equitable AI adoption, interdisciplinary learning, and expanding access to STEM education for underserved communities.
